About the founder

Prof Alberto Cruz Bruno, General Manager, Saudi Oil Shipment Co, joined the company in 1995, bringing with him over 21 years of experience in oil and gas import and export management. Prof Alberto Cruz Bruno is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of oil and gas including government affairs, and community relations and overall management of Syrian oil and gas.

Prior to joining oil and gas, Prof Alberto Cruz Bruno spent 11 years working with the Government of Saudi, serving for almost a decade as the CEO of Saudi oil Development Board (SDB) and for 9 years as the Deputy Director of the Saudi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI). He is a Board Member of Syria Investment Park, and is the Founder and Chairman of ABK FINANCIAL VENTURES/MULTI-SECTOR COMPANY LIMITED Madrid, Spain and the non-profit Saudi Group (SG) Syria.
